I have a Mac and you can download the latest version of VisualBoyAdvance and I downloaded a Pokemon Emerald rom, put a freeze on state game option and said that
"Unable to create the Save State / GBA Pokemon Emerald # 31.sgm''
Plz help me, I give a good amount of points

Click on "File", go to "Save" button, then click an empty space to save your game.
